Every photoshoot is a unique narrative waiting to unfold, and Sameera and Colin’s wedding was no exception. As I arrived at their home—a backyard transformed into a canvas of love and culture, I felt the anticipation weaving itself through the lovely chaos that surrounded me. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors, from the shimmering saris draping gracefully on the women to the intricate bangles gleaming under the playful light.

I first met Jasmine & Kevin when I photographed their surprise proposal and engagement party. It was so fun photographing their Vietnamese tea ceremony as a pre-wedding festivity.

Jasmine and Kevin both wore a traditional, beautifully ornate áo dài. Kevin was in a cream tunic and Jasmine in a traditional red dress with white gold embroidery.

I gathered a talented team of artists for this editorial wedding styled shoot in Downtown Los Angeles. We shot the session on a rainy morning, featuring soft light, neutral tones, and earthy textures. Angela and Harrison had two outfits - one suited for a more coastal vibe and another perfect for a minimalist chic elopement or city hall wedding.

This morning was so much fun! The colors, fruit display, and overall festivities were truly something to remember. Kimheang and Chingsan’s families gathered together to celebrate their engagement with a traditional Cambodian engagement party. There was a whole spread of various types of fruit such as dragonfruit, avocado, lychee, and mandarin oranges. The morning was spent with a lot of laughs, traditional cultural rituals, yummy homemade Cambodian food and photos with the whole family all gathered together.

Jasmine and Kevin celebrated 7 years of being together, and to commemorate the milestone, Kevin wanted to propose at the exact spot where he had asked her to be his girlfriend years ago. I felt so honored to be there to capture the joyous celebration with their friends and family gathered in support. The beach had a full summer crowd, filled with families enjoying a sunny day out. Kevin and Jasmine’s families joined in on the occasion facing the ocean with their backs to Jasmine, until the epic proposal moment.

This session with the Moran Family was so sweet. Mom and Dad met in high school and began their love story. Having built their family with two precious girls in tow, they are now anticipating welcoming a new baby. We had a special time capturing this season of life at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in the redwoods. I love the neutrals and rich tones of the background that provide the perfect backdrop for photos.

I had the best time with Tim, Eunice, and their cute pup Milo. Milo has the sweetest, affectionate nature. The most cuddliest dog in the cutest Christmas sweater. We wandered through the regal redwoods at Carbon Canyon, that really makes it feel like Christmas is in the air.

This was my second time photographing the Lo family, with the youngest being just 4 months old last year. I absolutely love getting to see the growth over time, and capture some fun memories in a new spot. Their complementary outfits are the cutest, and are the perfect autumn vibe!
